The Board of Directors consists of nine volunteers from all parts of North Carolina. Directors are elected for an initial term of four years, with a renewable two-year term up to two additional terms for a maximum of eight years. A full term for a Director begins immediately following Symposium.
Requirements for board membership include the desire to promote and perpetuate the art of quilting through regularly sponsored symposia throughout the state of North Carolina, residency in North Carolina, and the willingness to attend the annual Symposium and perhaps one other meeting each year at each board member’s own expense. We welcome all requests for inclusion on our Board of Directors. If no quilt guild is able to co-host the symposium, the board will host the event. This will require additional meetings throughout the year to plan and execute symposium.

Board Meetings: During the annual Symposium and perhaps one other meeting annually. If the board is hosting symposium without a quilt guild’s assistance, more meetings are required. Otherwise Board business is discussed and transacted by email.
Officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer. Officers serve two-year terms.
